Samuel L. Jackson

Fun project. Had to sculpt a bust of a famous person for a class, chose Samuel L. Jackson in his Pulp Fiction character. First I sculpted him as realistic as I could using ZBrush, then caricaturized, retopologized in Maya and texturized him in Photoshop [WIP screenshots are from this point].

I couldn't dedicate to it the time I wanted because at the moment I was working on a team game project, but I wanted to finish the character with full body and rig so when we were done with the project (it was Crimson Grit) I came back to him and modeled the rest of the body, textured him in Substance Painter and rigged him in Blender. Later for another assignment I modeled the pistol in Maya (high poly and low poly), baked and used Substance materials for the rest of the texture.
